We all save T-shirts because they represent what's important in our lives....who we are, what we do, and where we've been. We won't throw t-shirts out because they tell our life history and are a record of our favorite pursuits. Eventually a "what to do with all these t-shirts?" stage is reached.

Thousands of people have created a visual biography using the T-QUILT pattern, and here's what they say:

  • "When my son left for college, I cleaned his room and counted 88 t-shirts."

  • "I can't bear to part with my tour shirts, even tho' I wouldn't be caught dead wearing them again."

  • "...for my husband's 50th in the year 2000."

  • "My senior-in-college daughter still has her t-shirts from the 1st grade on up."

  • "At 2 to 3 shirts a month for 17 years of running, we've run out of drawer space."

  • "Our daughter wants an "international" bedroom with a quilt made from her travel T's."
